Nastalgic

Well, today was our annual kindergarten graduation. This day is an exciting day…those kindergarteners have been working so hard all year for this day, but, at the same time, it is a sad one. It means that school is over and I will not teach my K-4 students anymore. I know that most teachers are very excited about being out of school for the summer, but for some reason, I am sad about it. Perhaps I am sad because Alissa is leaving tomorrow for the summer. That is about 2 months without seeing her. I know that I will be so busy with Summer Session and that I will have Alyssa to spend time with, but it will not be the same. I am sure that the summer will go fast, but it is still stoic time for me.
